ABSTRACT:

The objetive of this Project is to develop a Project Management Plan for the creation of a National Land Banks Project in St. Vincent and the Grenadines to promote food and nutrition security and support sustainable management of rural lands, in particular idle and underutilized lands. The Land Bank Project was proposed by the Government of SVG to support the National Economic and Social Development Plan that covers the period 2013-2025 and the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals.

The research methodologies used to develop the FGP were analytical and descriptive methods. Also the Project Management Plan developed using the PMBOK® Guide 6th Edition provided a new methodology for the ministry and project coordinating unit to create a thorough project management plan for other future projects, to improve the way they would manage a Project

It is recommended that the Ministry use the Project Management Plan as a basis to provide the project team with the necessary tools and techniques to be able to manage the project execution using best practices; and ensure that the project team is familiarized with the templates provided in each plan in order to use them appropriately.
